PASCALPrivate English School Lefkosia participated in an Erasmus+ learning mobility of Spanish students

Pascal Private English School Lefkosia participated in an Erasmus+ learning mobility of students between the 13^th – 19^th of May 2023 when they hosted pupils and teachers from the IES Arcipreste Canales School in Recas (Spain), an accredited Erasmus+ School. The aim of the mobility was the internationalization of their school culturally and socially and from an environmentally sustainable approach. 

Throughout the week the twenty participating pupils, 9 Spanish and 11 Pascal Private English School Lefkosia pupils, got to know each other and obtained valuable experiences through cultural, environmental, and educational activities.  They explored Nicosia city centre and learned about its history guided by our teachers, after which they enjoyed a traditional Cypriot meal. They visited Larnaka, its salt lake and seaside and explored the flora, fauna, and seaside of the Ayia Napa region, where they were also introduced to our reBLUE project. They enjoyed environmental discussions at the Environmental Information Centre at Athalassa National Forest Park and the Troodos Geological Park Centre and they were able to have some hands-on experiences at the Utopia and Riverland bio-farm and Shadow Theatre (Cuckoo and the nightingale).  

In addition, strong friendship bonds were formed and although the pupils were sad to leave, they will remember this lifetime experience with much love as it was a truly amazing week, and we can’t wait to visit them in Spain!
