Beyond the classroom
PASCAL Lemesos offers students of all ages a diverse array of horizon-expanding experiences, helping them develop their leadership skills, talents, and interests outside of the classroom. These experiences help older students build valuable supporting evidence for university applications.
PASCAL’s House system is integrated with our extracurricular offer and a great way for students to collaborate and work towards common goals with peers. We also participate in inter-school events, where students compete with their cohort against other PASCAL schools.
Kindergarten & Primary School
We regularly refresh our extracurricular calendars to provide variety and encourage enthusiastic participation. The type of activities your child will be able to choose from at Primary in Lemesos include:
- Volunteering for an established charity
- Fundraising or sports events
- Sports/fitness
- Music/choir
- Festive plays and talent shows
- STEAM-based fun and learning
- Excursions
- International events such as World Poetry Day
Older Primary students in Years 5 and 6 enjoy local and foreign trips, respectively. Staying away from home helps to build resilience, self-confidence, and socio-emotional skills.
Secondary School
The Cypriot Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth approves the options available. Secondary students select three choices from various clubs, as per the dates and guidelines detailed in our Clubs Manual.
Student participation is mandatory, and performance is evaluated and detailed in the Apolytirion. Students can use evidence of a range of experiences to bolster university applications.
