PASCAL PRIVATE PRIMARY SCHOOL LARNAKA STUDENTS REPRESENT SCHOOL AT GLOBEDUCATE GLOBAL OLYMPICS 2026

Three students from PASCAL Private Primary School, Larnaka, have returned from the Globeducate Global Olympics 2026 after joining young athletes from international schools across Europe for an inspiring celebration of sport, teamwork and global friendship.

Yoav, Evan and Jack were selected to represent the school at the prestigious event, which brought together 180 students from 24 Globeducate schools across several countries. The students competed in a wide range of sporting activities – some familiar, such as football and table tennis, and others new to them, including archery and pickleball. Beyond competition, they formed new friendships, developed teamwork and leadership skills, and gained a deeper appreciation of different cultures.

The Globeducate Global Olympics is one of the many international experiences offered by Globeducate, designed to promote collaboration, wellbeing and international-mindedness among students from diverse backgrounds.

During the event, students took part in competitions ranging from football, athletics and uni-hockey to lacrosse and orienteering, among many others. They worked in mixed teams alongside peers from different schools and nationalities, fostering cooperation and mutual understanding. A particular highlight of the event was the outdoor learning experience, where students learned how to build shelters, make fires safely and develop essential outdoor education skills.

Reflecting on the experience, Evan said:

The experience provided students with a valuable opportunity to develop confidence, resilience and communication skills while proudly representing their school on an international stage.
