PASCAL Private Primary School and Kindergarten Lefkosia: Apollo House “Chuck a Duck” Event Supports the Center for People with Disabilities in Morphou

Our Apollo House’s “Chuck a Duck” fundraising event was a wonderful success, bringing together pupils and staff in a week filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition.

Children from all classes and houses eagerly participated, earning points for their teams while also contributing to a meaningful cause. Beyond the excitement of the activities, the event aimed to promote an important message of inclusion, empathy, and understanding... reminding us all that every individual has different abilities and that supporting one another helps create a stronger and kinder community.

Most importantly, the event allowed our school community to come together in support of the Center for People with Disabilities Morphou. During Wednesday morning’s assembly (6th May 2026), we were proud to present the donation raised through the initiative.

We were especially touched to learn that, thanks to the generosity of our pupils, families, and staff, the Centre will now be able to purchase a barbecue which will be used to prepare and enjoy their traditional Friday meals together.

At PASCAL, we strongly believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, and we are incredibly proud of our pupils for demonstrating compassion, generosity, and community spirit throughout this initiative.
