Annual Sports Day – 22nd November

On Wednesday, 22nd November, our schools PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia and PASCAL Greek School Lefkosia successfully held their Annual Sports Day, an event dedicated to promoting the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and collaboration. Organized by the Physical Education Department, the event aimed to inspire pupils to embrace the values of support, participation, and collective effort.

The day was filled with energy, excitement, and healthy competition as pupils took part in a variety of competitions including swimming races, shot put, long jump and various track races. Medals were awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners in a touching closing ceremony, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) points were allocated in recognition of participation.

Beyond the awards, the highlight of the day was the spirit of teamwork, as pupils and teachers came together to make the day a success, not only in terms of the sporting competitions but also in creating an atmosphere of collaboration and excitement. Our Physical Education teachers executed the whole event with remarkable expertise and organization, our IGCSE Physical Education pupils served as race time-recorders, our Athletic Section Coaches helped in preparing the pupils and setting up the races and all against a backdrop of bleachers full of enthusiastic and supportive cheers from the pupil-spectators. Our graduating class gave a lap of victory at the end, and some of our teachers even ran a teacher’s relay race! All in all, it was yet another unforgettable day where the school community came together, leaving all with valuable memories.

Many thanks to our Physical Education Department for the organization, and congratulations to all the pupils and teachers who participated and contributed to the event’s success. We are already looking forward to the next Sports Day!

Την Τετάρτη, 22 Νοεμβρίου, τα σχολεία μας, PASCAL Private Secondary School Λευκωσίας και Ιδιωτική Ελληνική Σχολή ΠΑΣΚΑΛ Λευκωσίας, πραγματοποίησαν με μεγάλη επιτυχία την ετήσια Αθλητική Ημερίδα, μια εκδήλωση αφιερωμένη στην προώθηση του αθλητικού πνεύματος, της ομαδικότητας και της συνεργασίας. Η διοργάνωση ήταν ευθύνη του Κλάδου Φυσικής Αγωγής, με στόχο να εμπνεύσει στους μαθητές τις αξίες της στήριξης, της συμμετοχής και της ομαδικής δουλειάς.

Η ημέρα ήταν γεμάτη ενέργεια, ενθουσιασμό και έντονο συναγωνισμό, καθώς οι μαθητές συμμετείχαν σε μια ποικιλία αθλητικών δραστηριοτήτων. Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης απονεμήθηκαν μετάλλια στους νικητές, πιστοποιητικά συμμετοχής σε όλους και βαθμοί στο πρόγραμμα Δράση- Δημιουργικότητας- Κοινωνική Προσφορά (ΔΔΚ).

Ωστόσο, πέρα από τις διακρίσεις, αυτό που μένει αξέχαστο είναι οι στιγμές συνεργασίας, οι δυνατές φιλίες και η αξία της ομαδικής προσπάθειας που αναδείχθηκαν σε κάθε δραστηριότητα.

Συγχαρητήρια σε όλους τους μαθητές και τους εκπαιδευτικούς που συμμετείχαν, καθώς και σε όσους συνέβαλαν στην επιτυχή διοργάνωση της ημέρας. Ανυπομονούμε για την επόμενη Αθλητική Ημερίδα!
