In the week beginning 23rd of March PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia our school honoured the 25th of March and 1st of April national holidays through a series of meaningful events that celebrated history, community, and inclusion.

The week began with a special assembly where we proudly presented our standard bearers with their flags in anticipation of the school parade. Our bearers—the top three Year 6 pupils, Theodora Timini, Christiana Charalambous, and Luka Tsielepis—took their oath before their teachers and peers, ready to lead our marchers in the annual parade with confidence and pride.

Alongside the parade preparations, we commemorated the national holidays with an in-school celebration for our Greek-speaking students and an informative historical session for non-Greek-speaking members of our community. The day was a meaningful opportunity for reflection, learning, and cultural appreciation, highlighting the importance of inclusion while honouring our shared history.

The celebrations culminated in the school parade, where our pupils marched with remarkable discipline, enthusiasm, and pride. Watching them lead the procession and represent our school so admirably was a moment of great joy and pride for all. Their commitment, teamwork, and respect for tradition exemplify the values we cherish as a school community and reflect the spirit of these important national holidays.
