PASCAL Private English School Lefkosia third Clubs sessions were held successfully on Thursday the 18th of January during which, depending on the pupils’ individual preferences, they participated in a variety of 26 different activities including active sessions in Dance, Rock Climbing, Trampolining, Paintballing, Go-Karting, Gymnastics, Chess, Yoga, Martial Arts, Escape Room games and Orienteering.
Other Clubs members broadened their knowledge and experienced the beauty of the countryside through educational visits to the Ierambelos Winery in Farmakas and the Saint Kyprianos Church in Meniko.
The more creative and artistic Clubs such as Graphic Design and Photography carried out practical outdoor workshops at the Nicosia Mall, whilst the Discovering Art Club visited the Leventio Museum and the Set Design Club members continued work on our school play set. Members of the Pinterest Club were busy producing their own creations, and The IncrEDIBLES’ members did their own cooking, led by one of our parents Ms. Sara Andreou.
The members of our Music club split themselves between continuing work with the school play cast rehearsing for our school production of ‘High School Musical’ and preparing for their upcoming participation in the Globeducate International Music Festival in Barcelona. The Robotics Team continued preparing for the upcoming FTC competition, and our Junior Achievement teams attended the BSM Career Day at the BSM Maritime Training Centre in Limassol.
Our Engineers visited The University of Nicosia where they attended a VR workshop, our budding scientists in the Biomedical Club visited the Nefrozoi Medical Center, and our Eco-Warriors visited the Cyprus Institute.
Marking the day was the Volunteerism Club’s visit to the Αγκαλιάζω με Αγαπή headquarters where they assisted the volunteers there in sorting and boxing items for donation to thirty-seven local families in need!
Our Clubs form an integral part of our school’s extracurricular programme, aiming to enrich our pupils’ development and expose them to learning experiences which will enable them to broaden their knowledge and life skills.
