PASCAL Primary School Lemesos celebrates Kindness Day

At PASCAL Primary School, we celebrated Kindness Day with meaningful activities that emphasised compassion, sharing, and respect.

Our school ambassadors visited the Ronald McDonald House Charities Cyprus as part of our Kindness Initiative. Proceeds from our recent Charity Non-Uniform Day were donated to this organisation. During their visit, the ambassadors attended a presentation about the Charity and the House, learning about its history and the impactful work it does.

The English Department also contributed to the day by organising a Book-Sharing Activity. Pupils were invited to bring a book from home and write its blurb on a piece of paper. On that day, these books were displayed in class for all to browse. Pupils selected books based on the blurbs and, after reading, engaged in creative activities such as crafting crossword puzzles, re-writing the book’s beginning or ending, or illustrating scenes from the story.

This initiative not only nurtured a love for reading but also taught pupils the value of sharing and respecting others' belongings.
