PASCAL Private Kindergarten and Primary School Lemesos celebrating STEAM & Financial Literacy Week! 

Our school was filled with creativity, curiosity, and hands‑on learning as we celebrated STEAM Week alongside Financial Literacy Week. Students from Reception to Year 6 took part in a variety of engaging activities focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics, exploring how these subjects connected to the world around them.

During Mathematics lessons, students also learned important principles of financial literacy, gaining an age‑appropriate understanding of budgeting, investing, and making responsible choices with money, as well as recognising potential risks and dangers. The combination of STEAM and financial education created an exciting and meaningful learning experience for all year groups.

Throughout the week, students developed a wide range of essential skills—from problem‑solving and critical thinking to creativity, collaboration, and digital awareness. These invaluable skills supported their learning both in and beyond the classroom.

A highlight of the week was a special Years 5 and 6 workshop, where students explored Artificial Intelligence, modern investment practices, and the potential risks associated with emerging technologies. The session also raised awareness of online fraud and digital safety, empowering students to think critically and stay informed.

It was a fantastic week of learning, collaboration, and inspiration—well done to all students and teachers for making it such a success!
