On Friday, 5 June, our school community was treated to a truly spectacular performance of Matilda. Our talented cast and choir captivated the audience from start to finish, bringing the beloved story to life with confidence, energy, humour, and heart. From the memorable characters to the wonderful musical performances, our students embraced the spirit of Matilda and delivered a show to remember.

This production was the result of months of hard work, dedication, and teamwork, and we could not be prouder of every student who took part.

A very special thank you goes to Ms. Effie Thomson, our Director and Coordinator, whose vision, commitment, and countless hours of preparation made this production possible. Thank you also to Ms. Laoura Petrou for leading the choir and music and helping our students shine on stage, and to Mr. George Nicolaou for his creativity and hard work in designing and creating the impressive set.

A special thank you to Ms. Natalie Patsalidou for her exceptional backstage coordination, ensuring that everything ran smoothly behind the curtain and that our performers were supported every step of the way.

We are equally grateful to our wonderful staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the production. Thank you to Ms. Maria Georgiou, Ms. Elaine Charalambous, Ms. Christina Charalambous, Mr. Harry Charalambous, Ms. Andrie Theodosiou, Ms. Lydia Onoufriou, Ms. Nikoletta Charalampidou, Ms. Sousana Kalligerou, Ms. Caroline Johnson, Ms. Sabrina Naser, Mr. Filippos Polykarpou, Ms. Vangelo Ioannidou, Ms. Niki Theophanous, Ms. Natalia Cacean, and Mr. Constantinos Marneros for their invaluable support with costumes, hair, make-up, props, seating arrangements, and countless other tasks that helped bring the show together.

A special thank you also goes to Ms. Yioda Telemachou for managing ticket sales and ensuring everything ran smoothly from the very beginning.

Finally, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Parents' Association for generously sponsoring this event and supporting the arts within our school community.

Congratulations to everyone involved. Matilda reminded us that sometimes even the smallest people can achieve extraordinary things, and our students certainly proved that on stage.
