On October 19, PASCAL International Education proudly co-hosted the 12th Annual Mini Session at European University, presenting a stimulating simulation of the European Parliament’s General Assembly. Organized by our school, along with our sister schools in Lefkosia and Larnaka, the event showcased outstanding leadership and dedication from our pupils.

Anna Roumpa (6A) led as President of the Session, steering discussions and proceedings with professionalism. Demetris Kyprianou (5A) assumed the role of President of the Board, with Marilou Schini Panagiotou (6A) supporting as Vice President. Marina Panayidou (5A) chaired the ENVI Committee, facilitating insightful dialogue, while organizers Marialena Fantousis (5C) and Alexandros Lambrianou (ST1) ensured the event ran smoothly.

Pupils from across Cyprus joined to draft and debate resolutions on critical issues such as stem cell research and artificial intelligence, demonstrating their passion for policy and the future.

The session included remarks from MP Demetris Demetriou, who encouraged pupils to maintain their commitment to active citizenship.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Parents and Guardians Association, whose steadfast support made this event possible. Their encouragement is vital to our school’s achievements, and we value their partnership in helping our pupils excel.

We also thank Mr. Nestoras Charalambous, Ms. Georgina Miltiadous, Ms. Christina Mariou, and our sponsors for their invaluable contributions to this successful event.
