Students from PASCAL Private Secondary School Lemesos, Dmitry Sytin, Andreas Ioannides, Yiannis Ioannides, Sophia Shiafi, Teodora Spasova and Marios Chapeshis, have proudly embarked on a transformative journey as they participate in the European Youth Parliament national session hosted at UCLan Cyprus, Pyla, from 27th to 30th August. The delegates began Day 1 of the event immersed in cultural exchange and dynamic collaboration through the much-anticipated Eurovillage and Teambuilding sessions.

The day kicked off with interactive teambuilding activities designed to foster unity, communication, and problem-solving among delegates from across Europe. These sessions created an engaging environment where students broke the ice, built trust, and developed a strong foundation for the intense committee-work to follow in the coming days.

The evening culminated in a vibrant celebration of European diversity during Eurovillage—a cultural showcase where each delegation presented traditional food, music, and customs from their respective countries. The PASCAL Lemesos team proudly represented Croatia, offering delicacies such as Pršut and Cheese, Sarma, and Čoko Oblanda.

The EYP session provides students with a unique opportunity to engage in structured debate, critical thinking, and active citizenship. As the event continues, delegates will delve into pressing European issues, formulating proposals and resolutions in simulated parliamentary settings.

Stay tuned for more updates as PASCAL Lemesos students continue to shine on the international stage.

Special thanks to accompanying teachers Mr. Nestoras Charalambous and Ms Christina Mariou and for their support and guidance.
