PASCAL Private Secondary School Lemesos Organizes the 5th Annual High School Mock Trial Competition

On November 2nd and 3rd, the 5th Annual High School Mock Trial Competition brought together schools from across Cyprus for a two-day event filled with challenging civil cases, compelling arguments, and outstanding performances by young legal enthusiasts. Hosted at Frederick University, this competition has become a cherished platform for pupils to explore the world of law in a realistic courtroom setting.

The first day saw intense rounds where pupils demonstrated their skills in argumentation, examination, and courtroom demeanor. The competition reached its peak on the second day, which culminated in a final round that left participants and spectators alike on the edge of their seats. Following over an hour of careful deliberation, the panel of esteemed judges announced awards in various categories, including Best Lawyer, Best Witness, Best Juror, and Best Team. Victorious teams and individuals were celebrated with trophies, scholarships from Frederick University, and internship opportunities with the respected Erotocritou LLC law firm.
