Our school proudly celebrated Global Money Week 2026 with a series of dynamic and educational events that inspired students to think critically about economics, finance, and their future.

1st Economics Olympiad | Year 4
The very first Economics Olympiad for Year 4 students took place on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, bringing together two classes in a lively and friendly competition. Students enthusiastically engaged in one on one Macroeconomic challenges, showcasing both their knowledge and teamwork. The room was filled with excitement, positive energy, and a spirit of collaboration. The winning class was proudly awarded for their achievement.

Seminar by Haydon Advisers | Year 5
On Friday, 20th March 2026, Year 5 Accounting, Economics, and Business pupils attended an insightful seminar led by Savvas Rigas and Alexandros Clappas. The session focused on the importance of making wise financial decisions for the future. Students actively participated, demonstrating curiosity and critical thinking as they explored key financial concepts and the long term impact of their choices.

Seminar by Cyprus Stock Exchange | Year 6
Year 6 Accounting students had the opportunity to attend an engaging seminar on Thursday, 12th March 2026, led by Eliza Stasopoulou and Michalis Michael. The session provided valuable insights into how the stock exchange operates and the wider financial environment. Students showed great interest, asking thoughtful questions and deepening their understanding of real world financial systems.

All events were successfully organized by Orestis Makrides as part of the Global Money Week initiative, with the valuable support of our dedicated teachers.
