All Day School

All Day School is optional for Secondary students in Years 1-3.

Sessions are run by teaching staff for two additional teaching periods at the end of the school day on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays after a healthy lunch.

All Day School at PASCAL exists to:

Help develop students’ study skills and encourage independent learning
Offer additional practice and preparation for upcoming tests/examinations
Provide extension work for stronger students
Add value for all students, including those requiring SEND provision*

* All Day School SEND provision is currently only available at Larnaka

In the All Day School, small groups of students will go over material taught that morning or do homework for the equivalent of two extra periods per day.

Each campus has slight differences in their All Day School offer & and their additional services:

All Day School, External Examination Support Lessons, Lefkosia

Subjects: Mathematics, Science and English

Mathematics is taught twice a week (four teaching periods in total). Science and English are taught once a week (two periods each, four periods in total). Students can choose to follow one subject per week.

Lefkosia also offers external examination support lessons in the upper Secondary to maximise pupil performance by focusing on subject-specific exam techniques and past papers.

All Day School, Dedicated SEND Sessions, Larnaka

Subjects: Mathematics, Science and English

English is taught two times a week (four periods in total), and Science and Mathematics are each taught once a week (two periods each; four periods in total). Students can choose to follow one subject per week.

Dedicated SEND sessions are available and are proven to make a significant impact following close monitoring by the school psychologist.
